Flowcrete’s semi-dry cementitious Isocrete K-Screed was selected as the substrate for its quick-drying, fast-curing properties and high compressive strength to provide an underfloor screed system that would provide structural integrity for the entire development. Around 50,000m² of the system were installed in the laboratories, classrooms and corridors, ready to receive the final floor finishes.
In the engineering laboratories, the selected floor finish was Flowcrete’s hard-wearing Flowfresh, which provides continuous anti-microbial protection against a range of bacteria, fungi and mould.
