Amtek Engineering, the Singapore-based precision metal stamping and tooling specialist, has equipped its production facility on the island of Batam, Indonesia, with new a new flooring system from performance flooring specialist, Flowcrete.
Covering an area of 900m2, Flowcrete first applied a 2-3mm Flowcem system, a cementitious, modified epoxy DPM (damp proof membrane) to protect potential rising moisture from the substrate.
This was then finished with a smooth top coat of Flowshield, an epoxy resin self-levelling system that is hard-wearing, abrasion resistant and easy to clean. The result was a sleek floor and brand new look that fulfilled Amtek’s requirements.
