Close to 7,000m² of Flowcrete’s specialist seamless flooring materials have been installed in the production and manufacturing facility of the pharmaceutical and cosmetic giant, Nivea, located in Poznań, Poland.
Poznań is one of the oldest and largest cities in Poland. It is the historical capital of the Wielkopolska Region, where the Polish State was born around1000 years ago. Owing to massive economic development within the area, Poznań is home to some of Poland’s most prestigious industry including Nivea Polska S.A.
Nivea specified a wide range of Flowcrete’s seamless industrial flooring materials to create the right first impression underfoot throughout their site. This included over 6000m² of Peran STB Compact within the production unit of the plant alongside 470m² of Flowshield LXP, installed at a thickness of 0.7mm, within the technical area of the manufacturing facility.
Nivea also opted for Flowcrete’s hygienic flooring solution, Flowfresh HF, which contains a natural antimicrobial Polygiene® to meet the needs of a140 sq metre area subject to high chemical and thermal shock.
In addition 120m² of Peran ESD STB, an antistatic flooring solution that complies with high electronic standards has been installed at the site of battery trolley charging along with coving, which was supplied for the entire facility.
