Flowcrete has secured a major contract for its two-hour flooring concept in a new-build pharmaceutical plant, being constructed in Singapore.
Under the deal, 8,000m² of Flowfast Terrosso will be installed at Lonza
Pharmaceuticals, located in the Tuas Industrial Park, Singapore, where much of the country’s pharmaceutical industries are based.
Flowfast is being installed in production areas, clean rooms, laboratories and corridors across the development.
The project is the latest success for Flowfast, which was launched in the UK last year. In most cases, the floor is ready to use just two hours after application – making light work of transforming environments at ground level.
The project at Lonza is the first application of Flowfast in Singapore. The client has used this type of floor in their USA plant, and has chosen it for speed of installation, combined with the abrasion and scratch resistance, as well as aesthetics.
Flowcrete reinforced its position as a leading innovator of flooring technology after researching and developing Flowfast at its headquarters in the UK.
The product has been rolled out to Malaysia, Singapore, Australia, New Zealand and Hong Kong in the last few months. It is set to launch in South Africa later this year.
