Taking Transformation To New Levels at Foodex

UK flooring manufacturer Flowcrete will be showcasing systems including its  innovative two-hour concept Flowfast - the ideal flooring choice in the economic downturn for the food processing and packaging industry – as well as state-of-the-art silver germ-busting floors at Foodex 2010.

Flowfast is the ultra fast-track resin system from Flowcrete, which is generally ready for use within two hours of application.

The system has become a global phenomenon across the food and drink industry - specified for major projects throughout the world, where its fast-track installation process - offering minimal disruption to businesses’ day-to-day operations - has spurred on its success.

Such fast installation capability cuts down on the cost of labour and means a site can be fully operational after an overnight application programme, delivering significant cost savings.

Foodex, the new name for Foodex Meatex, takes place at Birmingham's NEC on 21-24 March 2010. Flowcrete can be found at stand R010.

At the event, Flowcrete will also be showing its Flowfresh system, which utilises the natural power of silver to fight problems such as E-Coli and salmonella at ground level.

For decades, Flowfresh has been installed in the food and drink sectors and the floor is designed to meet the unique needs of the industry such as a steam cleanable, non-shedding surface, which is slip resistant and hard wearing.

The use of silver in the mix, with the Polygiene® additive, also gives the floor the ability to measure up to the stringent hygiene requirements of modern processing environments.
